Mustansar Ali: The Bridge to a Better Future

My name is Mustansar Ali. I belong to Okara. My village is Khan Bahadur, seven kilometers from Hujra Shah Muqim City. I attended a government school and matric from high school during my primary education. I opened my eyes to a low-income family. We are four brothers, and I am the eldest of them all. After matric, there was advice not to study from home anymore. Or, if you want to learn, take classes at your own expense.

But I was obsessed with moving forward, so I was admitted to D.Com Shorthand at Associate College of Commerce Chunian. I made some new friends there who helped me study a lot. My mother worked as an embroiderer, and she paid my college fees. After two years, I decided to come to Lahore, but my circumstances were different from what I could come to Lahore. But I moved to Lahore, stayed with friends in Jamia Punjab, and got a job at an academy. Then, I joined the Islami Jamiat Talaba. Due to job study, I had to leave the academy.

Then, I found another job that started at night—as a data entry clerk for an accounting company in the UK. I took classes till one o’clock and worked from two to 11 p.m. I completed my degree with difficulty and, at the same time, began learning SEO, which Mr. Raheel guided. Then, I started an SEO job at an American company. I bought a laptop worth 14 thousand, created a Fiverr account, and six months later.

I got my first order for Sitemap. From there, my freelancing career began. I worked diligently all day and night. Also, I created an Upwork account and started guest posting. In 2019, I quit my job and spent days and nights setting up my profile and doing guest posting. And in 2021, I earned more than 50 thousand dollars.

Consequently, I wanted to own a house and a car and to visit to Allah’s house and thank Him. I faced many difficult situations, but I didn’t get discouraged; I continued to work hard and learn new skills.

I wish to provide employment opportunities to the younger generation and show them how to freelance and succeed. We held meet-ups in different cities (#letsconnect) to awaken awareness among the young generation and instill the spirit of growth in them.

Allah helps you when you work hard and don’t take shortcuts. Alhamdulillah I am a top rated seller on Fiverr, Upwork and People per hour. And so far, I have earned more than one and a half million dollars. I have built my own office and am building a team, and I have also started a digital agency. There is much to say, but I want to say it briefly. If you want to do something in life, you will need hard work and dedication.

Also, motivating local college students to freelance. I was also selected in the Top 100 Influencers by the Creative Leadership conference that was held in Islamabad on 21, and 22 October 2023.
