Muhammad Irfan Ajiz, Founder and CEO of Khargosht, is a pioneer working to introduce modern rabbit farming in Pakistan.
His journey began in 2016 with a simple yet powerful vision: to create new opportunities for farmers by promoting rabbit farming as a profitable, sustainable agricultural activity, while also raising awareness of rabbit meat as a healthy, halal protein source.
At that time, information about rabbit farming in Pakistan was extremely limited. Recognizing this gap, Irfan Ajiz started sharing practical knowledge with aspiring farmers. Through training sessions, educational content, and digital platforms, he began building a community of people interested in rabbit farming.
To further support farmers, he established Khargosht, a platform that provides modern rabbit farming accessories, equipment, and guidance for beginners and experienced farmers alike.
In 2019, Irfan Ajiz authored “Khargosh Bani,” the first and only comprehensive book in Pakistan dedicated to rabbit farming. The book provides step-by-step guidance for individuals who want to start rabbit farming professionally.
Over the years, hundreds of farmers across Pakistan have received training and guidance through Khargosht. The platform also launched the country’s first online store dedicated to rabbit farming accessories, making it easier for farmers to access modern equipment.
Through social media and digital platforms, Khargosht has created an online educational community where people can learn about rabbit farming, farm management, breeding techniques, and business opportunities in this emerging sector.
In 2024, Khargosht entered a new phase by introducing rabbit meat to the consumer market, promoting it as a lean, high-protein, and healthy alternative to traditional meats.
Today, Khargosht represents more than a business. It is a growing movement focused on farmer empowerment, sustainable agriculture, and creating new opportunities within Pakistan’s agricultural economy.
Muhammad Irfan Ajiz continues to work toward building a structured rabbit farming industry in Pakistan and inspiring others to explore innovative opportunities in agriculture.
