In 2007, I completed my intermediate diploma with I-COM, in which I learned the basics of computer operating and tools like Microsoft Office, Excel, Powerpoint, and Access/Database. Hence, I built my basic IT skills in this way.

I wanted to go ahead in this field but I didn’t get any path to continue my learning. Joining the online technological world was the thing I was passionate about.

Once on a radio program, I learned to know from the discussion which was; there is something which is called Blogging, and earning from Blogging is Halal or Haram? This was the first term I started Googling from a local internet cafe. I started struggling to learn web designing from HTML and CSS through Online Image tutorials, but failed. I started a job in 2008 as an Office Assistant, in which my English skill got polished, office management skill was additionally learned. I left the office job in 2012 due to my opposite temperament, I was not born to do a job, I was not a person of 9 to 5.

Due to lifting the job, I faced the challenge of unemployment. I evaluated my abilities and sentiments by looking within my heart to find out where I could pursue my career. In my imagination; deep thinking, I often thought about the construction of buildings, like how a house should be built, design and layout-wise. Due to this internal interest,  I completed my diploma in Auto-CAD with the 1st Position of that Batch in 2012 and went to Lahore to find a job related to this field. When I was looking for Job as an Auto-CAD operator, I was eventually hired as a trainer to teach Auto-CAD in a local institute.

The experience of teaching grew my ability to stand in front of a small crowd in the form of students. This was an amazing experience in my life. Because I was a shy boy.

Later on the same year, I also got hired as an IT teacher for ICS classes due to my prior knowledge in the IT field.

I got the chance to run my own IT institute inside that local College. Although I was not so successful due to a lack of marketing knowledge still, I learned a lot from this experience. I didn’t stop my struggle here. The spirit residing in me was convincing me to do more, to expand my knowledge and skill for a better future.

I left my job of teaching Auto-CAD and ICS from college and I migrated from Lahore to Multan to my Hometown for some domestic issues.

Then I started to struggle for a new job to bear my expenses. I was unable to continue work due to a lack of interest in jobs. In Multan, I left several jobs. I wanted to seek a route of my spirit that could polish my passion to do something else at my own end.

Once that time I started my own business on an idea to create a web portal for business listing/directory (Now as “Yellow Pages of Pakistan“).

I had no idea what I was going to start, but I had a passion that I could earn money by implementing my idea. Do you know what happened? I failed.

My bad luck was that I invested in the business, without any knowledge of website, marketing, SEO, advertising, and client tackling. All this I was struggling alone.

I tried many ways to grab some business but I failed, again and again.

Due to a lack of funds to handle my kitchen expenses, again I started a job as an accountant. During the job, I met a software developer, to whom I shared my flopped website story and shared my knowledge about website handling. He asked me to build a landing website using WordPress for his client because he knew that I have a little bit of knowledge in website designing.

I took the opportunity, and started it, and completed that website in a few hours. I got Rs.15000 from that project. Do you know the funny thing? I was doing the job as an Accountant of Rs.9000 per month at that time.

This event of my life changed everything, I got 2 more website designing projects similar to the previous one in the next week, and I earned around Rs.45000 in 2 weeks, doing a few hours of work.

In a few months, I started building my portfolio and offering website designing services to the social media platforms, locally. Also, I tried to get business from freelancing websites too.

I left the job when I started earning enough money by doing freelancing. But during all this struggle I learned what website development is, what is SEO, what is marketing, why I failed each time, why people push me back.

I started learning online by buying different courses and got advanced knowledge about all the fields in which I was working.

I started giving my day and night efforts during this period, I worked mostly 14 to 16 hours a day. At the start, I learned expert levels of information about SEO Website Development (HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap) from different online sources.

Now I have an expert level of knowledge in more than 14 different skills and Expert in Search Engine Optimization, like Technical SEO, On-Page SEO, and Off-Page SEO, Social Media Marketing. I can work in HTML5, CSS3, PHP, WordPress, Codeignator, Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop, Auto-CAD, 3D Max, and many others.

Now I have a team who has been doing SEO with me since 2019. We work as an SEO Agency called ORM Digital Solutions. Mine earning from freelancing is six-figure on a monthly basis whereas I am dealing with International SEO Clients regularly.

I have been selected as a Digital Marketing Trainer from NFTP (National Freelancing Training Program) which is a wide program like the eRozgar working under the Govt of Pakistan. I have joined the University of Education of Lahore, Multan Campus by NFTP as a trainer in the Content Marketing and Advertising area to train the youth.

I am very thankful to Allah Almighty, who helped me and taught me every part of life.  I am heartily thankful that I have a life of my own choice. During all this journey of ups and downs, my family support is a bonus of my success. I have learned to be socialized, and when you get success in your life, you have to pay back the same. I am on the mission of paying back to the community in my available resources.

I am running a YouTube Channel called “SEO Observer” having a playlist “SEO with Nizam” where I uploaded my paid SEO course lecture for free to the Pakistani Community. You can also get my latest articles related to Digital Marketing and SEO strategies at www.nizamuddeen.com/blog.
