I learned how to develop mobile apps in class 10th

Hello,

This is Umair Jamil and I belong to Bahawalnagar, Pakistan. I started my journey in 2017 as a graphic designer. I took admission in the Government of Pakistan FREE course Digiskills course about freelancing and graphic designing and learned a lot from it.

My story is a bit smaller than others.

As a graphic designer, I used to copy and paste everything from YouTube tutorials like of Sir Imran Ali Dina and many other YouTubers. After two years, I realized that I do not have any creative skills that can bring me to the top of the creatives.

What did I do after it?

I started to find my passion and one day, I was watching Sir Hisham’s Live Stream in which he said that:

If you have problem solving skills, Start programming right now.

After watching that video at the beginning of 2021, I started to flutter and I didn’t have any special experience as a programmer. I learned and mastered it in almost 6 months. It took 6 months because of the lack of resources and people’s bad comments.

I also created and ranked my gig on my first page of Fiverr at the beginning of my learning. After some time, I got some clients but I didn’t know how to work. Alhamdulillah, now I am able to develop simple and complex apps. One client, I got from the marketplace was regarding developing a CRM application. This was a major breakthrough, the project paid off very nicely and that was the beginning of my online earning journey.

My Fiverr Story

When I started my journey. I got rejected (blocked) by Fiverr up to 5 times just because of my spam activity. I know I am guilty, do not judge. As a young kid, I just wanted to become successful.

One of my account earned $116 and my other two accounts which are running currently have $108 pending. You might be thinking that where is the money which the client has given you for the CRM. Just to tell you, that client reached me through my Facebook page on WhatsApp. Alhamdulillah now I am getting orders from Fiverr and locally.

Conclusion and very important lessons

• Believe in yourself and you can do it.
• Ignore people who tease you in any way.
• Follow up your passion rather than following people’s suggestions.
• Work hard as you can but do it in a smart way. Knowing the direction in which you are working is very important.
