My story will inspire you to achieve your goals and not give up despite what life throws at you. For me, nothing is impossible. I have an amazing passion for what I do and I am very excited to share my experiences with all of you. No matter who you are or from what country you come from, there are many things that you can learn from me that will enrich your life in some way.
My Background toward my Passion
My name is Shabnam Memon. I belong to the Hyderabad city Sindh Pakistan and completed my Law degree with good Marks. I was always having a passion for writing since my childhood. My father always encouraged me whenever there was a chance to write articles or any content. My father’s career in journalism influenced me to become a writer. He taught me that writing is an art and told me about influential authors who shared their life experiences through their works. He knew that he could see my passion for writing when I was young and knew I would grow up to be a successful writer.
How did this journey begin?
Stop chasing the money and start chasing the passion that line always inspires me. I heard about Digiskills and took two courses, one was about creative writing and another was freelancing, I got a path to provide my services online and create an account on Fiverr in 2019 but didn’t start my work because I was unsure about how it works. Besides learning these two skills, I was practicing on my writing skill.
In 2020 I started again and within a week got a project of the article writer for $4. I was extremely happy, my father was happy for me too that the journey has begun. From 19 January till March 4, 2020, I earn $200 from Fiverr.
The Most Terrible loss of My Life (I Lost my Pillar of Strength)
On March 7, 2020, the day I withdraw my first hundred dollars was one of the happiest days of my life because I had bought new clothes for my father, he seemed very proud of me. That next morning, when he was resting in his bed, he suffered a heart attack and died before we could do anything.
It was the day that I do not want any daughter wants to go through my happiness unexpectedly turned into sadness and I lost hope for a supportive father my only pillar of strength in this world.
When I turned into darkness and felt like nothing could help me, but then there was a father I look up to him as my only pillar of strength in this world looking at my depressed face, then he came closer to me and hug me and say “I am with you..”
How I faced that Situation
I always wanted to be like my father. He was my hero and I loved to follow in his footsteps. I started a job in NGO due to financial issues to support my family my freelancing career was getting down I was not able to give the time but, my passion was still there. Along with a 9 to 5 job, I continue my writings and successfully got projects as well. I was earning around $200 to $500 per month from freelancing which helped to manage my financial problems. I expend my work from Fiverr to Upwork and freelancer.com as well.
Current Situation
Alhamdulillah, I am earning a very handsome amount of money from my freelance profile. As my dad told me, you can achieve whatever you want and that courage I got from my father.
